You must be a nonprofit organisation, non-government organisation, social enterprise. If you are not sure whether you qualify, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will also need to have a valid email address, preferably one that matches your organisation name / website, ie if your website is myorganization.org, then your email should end with @myorganization.org. This is how we can verify that you’re an official representative of your organization. If you don’t have a matching email address – we understand that there are exceptions. Please contact us to verify by some other means.
Do Gooders are individuals or groups who have taken it upon themselves to commit to Doing Good through their skills and expertise for a cause that is close to their hearts. These Do Gooders could range from university students who join through the University volunteer programme or busy professionals who sign up on their own. This portal is open to anybody who wants to Do Good.
A Project is an event / task created by volunteers to accept / participate in.
Do Gooders (volunteers) are always looking for different opportunities so the more projects you upload, the better! Do Good. Volunteer. supports volunteerism of all kinds, from micro-volunteering to online volunteering and most commonly on-site volunteering. The Project should include as much detail as possible including what the Do Gooders are required to do so that they can immediately accept the project without needing to inquire further. Supporting details such as website or images can help to add interest to the project.
